How to get there By coach

There are quite a few coach lines which stop in Bucarest and in many other towns of the country. They offer an access relatively cheap (about 200 € return from Paris to Bucarest). In spite of the fact that, in theory, the access by bike is not possible, in practice, it is easy to negociate.

By plane

Bucarest has a vast array of flights coming in from the main European cities. Return flights are possible from Paris (Alitalia), from Zurich or from the main German cities (Lufthansa) from 300 €. The Capitale is located at 65 km from the itinerary.

By train

The two main points of entrance/international train stations are in Bucarest and Constanta, the main seaside resorts of the Romanian coast.
By train, Constanta and Galati are well connected to Bucarest.
International connexions with Western Europe take much more time by train.

Progress reports

There is no particular installation for cycleways yet, but thetrafic level along the whole itinerary is still very moderate. A deep looking-round/examination of this itinerary has been made.
