The entire route from Dôle to Basel will be finished in 2007, with the exception of a few sections leading into to Montbéliard (scheduled for 2008), leaving Besançon (due to be finished in 2009) and through Mulhouse. In 2008, 80% of the route will be on dedicated cycleways. Currently, the route can be followed using very quiet minor roads. This section of EuroVelo 6 deserves to become better known, both for the quality of the itinerary and the beauty of the towns it visits. |
